detamoov supports data retention policies that allow you to determine how long data "moov'd" will be retained on the platform. Please note, any data retained in detamoov is stored encrypted at rest. Any data received by detamoov will adhere to the data retention policy.

As a customer admin, you have the ability to maintain your data retention settings on your account. To access the data retention settings, click on your initials in the upper right and then select the Settings tab.

Then expand the Security/Compliance section and click on Data Retention.

The default retention policy is 16 months. This was determined after speaking with a number of detamoov customers who wanted 16 months of data retained specifically for retirement integrations. Though 16 months is the default, it can be changed to any whole number (in months) between 3 and 24 by entering the value in the Data Retention field and clicking Save Changes.

Note: Changing your setting will only impact retention on new data received.
