detamoov has an added layer of security that allows customers to activate multi-factor authentication.  You can enable multi-factor authentication in one of two ways:

  1. Account level requiring all users in your organization to utilize multi-factor authentication in detamoov
  2. Individual user-by-user basis if not required by your organization

Enable Account Level Multi-factor Authentication

This setting allows a user with detamoov administrator access to enable multi-factor authentication for all users in your detamoov account.  Use this setting if you require multi-factor authentication for all your detamoov account users.

To enable this setting, login to a detamoov with administrator level access, click your initials in the upper right and select Admin Console.

On the Admin Console, click on the Settings tab, expand Security/Compliance section and click the Multi-factor Authentication setting.

On the Edit Multi-factor Authentication panel, toggle the "Require multi-factor authentication for my company" ON and click Save Changes.

Multi-factor authentication is now enabled for all users in your detamoov account. The next time each user attempts to login to detamoov they will be required to set up multi-factor authentication.

Below are the steps the user will go through upon next login:

  1. A QR code and a Manual Key with be shown.
  2. The user will use an authenticator app on their phone to scan the QR code or enter the manual key in your app. The most common authenticator apps include the Microsoft Authenticator and Google Authenticator apps available in your phone's app store.
  3. Enter the code provided by your authenticator app in the Code textbox
  4. Click Submit.

Multi-factor authentication is now active on the user account.  The next time the user logins to detamoov with their email and password, they will be prompted to enter in their authenticator generated code.

Enable Individual User Multi-factor Authentication
