This article describes how to access the billable events report on your account.

Billing events include:

  • Document Processed - moov executions with document triggers processed
  • moov configuration created - creation of a moov configuration
  • Records processed - per record processed in the source data/file sent to detamoov
  • File/source processed - receipt of source data by detamoov
  • Unlimited use

Billing Scenarios

Below are two scenarios and the type of billing events that occur with each.

1. Retirement file integrations

For retirement file integrations, three types of billing events are raised. The first is the moov configuration created event. This event is only raised one time per client and 401k provider when you initially configure the integration. So if my client is Jim's Deli and their retirement plan is with Benefits Consultants Group, a one-time billing event occurs when the moov configuration is created.

Then for each payroll when retirement plan contribution data is sent to Benefit Consultants Group for Jim's Deli, two billing events are created. The first is the file/source processed event. The second is the Records processed event.

2. Time import integrations

Time import integrations follow our Unlimited use billing model. Like the retirement file integrations, there is the one-time moov configuration created event which occurs when you first setup a client for a time import.

Then a billing event occurs only if the time import is used at least once in a billing period by the client. No matter how many times the time import integration is used by a client in a given month, a flat monthly fee occurs because it follows our unlimited use billing model.
