A moov configuration for a specific client allows for you to override how the standard transformations work for each field in your file. For example, you may have a plan with John Hancock which requires the Safe Harbor Employer Match value to not go into the normal John Hancock 'SHMAC' field, but rather into the 'ERMT1' field.
To override a transformation on the moov configuration level, click moovs on the left side menu and select the moov associated with the configuration.
Select an existing moov configuration for your client under the moov configuration section on the right hand side.
Note: If you have not set up a moov configuration for the client, please see the 'Add a moov configuration' article to first add the moov configuration.
Click Next in the lower right corner of the 'edit configuration' page and scroll to the Action - Transform Step, click the 'Transformation Overrides' banner and click the 'Add' button.
To remove the transformation of the SHMAC field, select this field from the dropdown menu and click the 'Add Override' button.
Caution: By selecting the field, you will be changing the default transformation behavior.
On the New Transformation Override page, hover over the 'Remove Separators Leave Decimal Point' Transformation rule and click the trashcan icon to delete this rule.
Click on the Input fields dropdown and uncheck 'Current Payroll Safe Harbor Employer Match' and then click 'OK'.
To apply a new transformation to the ERMT1 field, select this field from the dropdown menu and click the 'Add Override' button.
Click on the Input fields dropdown on the New Transformation Override page.
Check 'Current Payroll Safe Harbor Employer Match' from the dropdown.
Click on the '+ADD Rule' button and select the rule 'Remove Separators Leave Decimal Point' and then click 'OK'.
To complete the transformation override, click the 'Next' button in the lower right corner and then click the 'Save' button on the next page.
