This article describes how you can add an approval to a moov step.  This will ensure that the moov execution does not continue until it has been approved.

 

 

NOTE: the step the approval is placed on will execute and then the moov execution will be paused until it is approved by the user.  If you wish to pause the moov execution before a specific step executes, place the approval on the step prior to that step.  An example of this is when you wish to set the approval before a file is sent to an SFTP site.  If you want to review the moov execution before the file is sent to the SFTP site, place the approval on the step prior to the Action - Deliver SFTP step.

 

To add an approval to a moov step you will first want to click on moovs in the left hand menu and then click on the moov definition you have configured for your client:

 

 

Then click on the moov configuration for your client that you want to add an approval:

 

You will be brought to the moov configuration set up steps.  Click Next:

 

On the next page the list of steps for the moov will be displayed in order.  If an approval can be added to the step, there will be a 'Must be approved by' dropdown menu:

 

Select the person you want to approve the step by choosing them from the drop down list of users and click the Next button at the bottom of the page:

 

 

Review your settings on the following page and then click on the Save button

Once the moov executes and the approval is triggered the selected user and any admin level user on your account will receive a notification to approve the step.
